Joel 9 months ago I've noticed an issue where Spotify (1.6.0) won't fails to play a song or a podcast if I've just deleted a podcast (Fenix 7 firmware 11.28). For example, I'll be out on a run and I'll finish a podcast, delete it and then attempt to play another. Spotify fails to play the next podcast and presents me with the blank screen. Verdict: Fossil Gen 6 is a powerful smartwatch that will run the new Wear OS, enabling to access various applications available in the Google Play store. Just got my Fenix 6 Sapphire today and trying to open spotify is either not working or sometimes even restarting the watch. Spotify was an essential function when i choose this fix. Your phone is with you, near you, etc. you have earbuds connected TO YOUR PHONE [meaning, not your watch). In this scenario, yes your watch can also ‘control’ your music - play pause vol up/down skip fwd, etc. I've had the same issues with the Fenix 7X Sapphire. My phone is the Pixel 6 Pro. I didn't have issues with my old garmin watch when using this phone. I'm still on the fence about returning the watch. So far firmware updates haven't helped. The easiest way I've found to temporarily fix the connection issue is: 1. Leave it connected in garmin vnqpR.
