The Tiger 1050 is a fantastic motorcycle. It's great to ride, very comfortable for long trips, handles well and the triple is fantastic. I've not heard of any real issues with the 1050 engine. Triumph seems to have robustly engineered the triples and they seem to be pretty bulletproof.

Bedford #2 Oct 26, 2018 Tiger 1050 takes 579cc 10w oil per leg from dry. With fork off the bike, spring installed and fully compressed there needs to be a 30mm air gap at the top.
