After three days of uncertainty, I was able to use the connect features with my secondary phone number. Skoda didn't like my primary phone number for some reason. So now, I am able to use the Skoda Connect app. I can see the information and all. However, the new "Skoda ConnectED" app still doesn't recognize my phone number. Thanks. Try logging into your Skoda Connect. Remove your car and then try and re-add it (either via Skoda Connect Portal or via the Skoda Connect App). You can also try and reactivate the car by tethering the car to a WLAN hotspot - I do mine from my car. Hi everyone, I ourchased a used skoda octavia 2017 a few days ago and skoda connect just doesn't seem to connect to the Internet. It just comes up with the online configuration wizard for hours. Skoda isn’t a bad tank (remember, you could always be forced to play the pershing instead) but the existence of the progetto and even the pantera in the tech tree makes it pretty redundant. It doesn’t really do anything that those vehicles can’t, while they are much more flexible with the autoreloader. Mine only came with the infotainment part of the app, when it does decide to work I can send navigation to it, set the dealer and that's about it, waste of space and not worth it, will not be renewing 8wd8L2.
